The white flashing on the front of my home is filthy. Looks black in spots. I presume that stuff from the roof slides down and stains it.
Lemon juice also makes an effective tarnish remover for aluminum. To remove tough stains or heavy tarnish, sprinkle baking soda on a fresh lemon slice and rub it across the object like a sponge. Wipe clean with a damp rag then dry with a towel or polishing cloth
Get your self some bras so cream it will clean it nice
While the birdhouse is outside, dampen it with a water hose. Then dust the house with baking soda, inside and out, and let it set, After half an hour, wash it out, then use a scrubber sponge to get all the dirt out and off the outside. Use more baking soda as needed for bad stains. When the birdhouse is clean and dry, use a little baby oil or patroleum jelly to coat every bit of the birdhouse, and let that dry for an hour. Then use a soft dry cloth to polish the birdhouse, preserving any patina, and preparing the birdhouse for its next season. Best wishes! ☺️
