I stagger stack them and use them as tables for pumpkins, mums, gourds, etc.
Hi there. I'm Cindy. You can use your bails of hay in with your Fall decorating and Halloween decorating too. Stack them to form different levels. Place some pumpkins around and on top of the bails. You can also put some potted Mums on a couple levels. Indian corn and scare crows can finish the whole vignette you just created. Once Halloween is over, you can plant the mums in the ground. Hardy mums will blossom every year. Good luck with this project.
You can always stack a couple (staggered) in your frton yard or near/on your front porch if space allows, and add a pumpkin or two, some gouards, and a nice colorful mum!
Rather than hay you need to use bales of straw if you plan to use them in your yard. Hay has all kinds of seeds in it including weed seeds. Your yard will thank you.
This is a fall tour of our homestead, several pictures of our front porch and decorations with hay bales. Hope this helps! Hugs, Holly
