Hi Linda, Stick on Tile covers - come in great designs now - Plain, Metallic or Patterned.
I saw some thin glass ones in Lowe’s last week. Amazing!

I put up a peel and stick wallpaper as my backsplash. It was easy to do and make such a difference. You can check mine out here http://beautyforasheshome.com/faux-subway-tile-backsplash/
We had a house with hospital green fixtures, tub, sink, and tile. We had a bath refinished come in. Hubby bought new toilet in almond (long time ago) and the guy matched it and sprayed everything that was green. I think it was a urethane product. Right after, we sold the house. It was an amazing improvement.
I saw where someone had tiles, and stenciled a pattern on them. Really pretty and simple.
Home Depit has a peel and stick tiles, its some kind of vinyl i think that can go right over your ceremic tiles.
