How to put a 4 foot fence around my yard to keep my dog safe?
I live in a 1930 duplex house. There is already a fence on 1 side. I need to put one at the center of the home, running to the back, and then connecting to the other side. So since it will be splitting the yard in two I want to do that in the most attractive way possible, so as not to make my neighbors uncomfortable. Once I get the fence in, I'm looking to start being a foster mom for dogs too. So it needs to be put in properly, and be sturdy.it will need 2 gates as well.

If you are fostering dogs you will need a taller fence. I have a doberman / terrier mix, 30 lbs and 11 1/2 years old. Scales 6 and 7 foot fences with ease if she is chasing something. She is like a mini Gazelle in flight. You need to decide what type of fence you want too. Wood, metal, vinyl? Mixed? And what style would compliment your home. Have you looked at all yet?
