I have Maxwell House coffee containers. ?
We can we do with our nice coffee containers with the handle on them. I do not like throwing them away, because they are so nice. I know they are good for to put salt in for outside for winter, What other ideas does anyone have.
Thank you,
Gloria B

Hi Gloria,
We use ours for holding enough compost products in the house until full enough to take out. Also put coffee grounds in one for the garden.
I keep flour, sugar etc in mine. I also use them in the garage for fertilizer, bug granules, etc.
My husband uses them to store all sorts of garage things, and uses a magic marker to write what is in them. They are great storage containers for anything.
I collect wild blackberries with mine, store nails and other stuff in the garage.
I use them as a filler in large flower pots so I don't have to use as much soil and the pots are not as heavy.
You could spray paint them and use them as storage containers in the pantry, or you might consider turning them into planters. Have fun!
