Dampen sound of toilet flushing?
I have a bathroom above my tv-room. Every time someone flushes upstairs, it is so loud you cannot hear the tv anymore until the tank is filled. Do I need to tear open the walls or how do I go about this?

I would think you would have to insulate the ceiling. How tall are your ceilings? They make sound proof panels you can add to the surface. You can add over your ceiling and redrywall. Before you do all that, I'd check into a quiet flush toilet
