How to provide outside deck shading?
Ok..so I finally managed to get my little deck built out back and was looking forward to really getting out there and enjoy. Well, it didn't take long to realize how miserable hot it was out there. My patio and umbrella set just didn't do much for shade. So now I want to come up with somekind of Pergola or sturdy awning idea for coverage. One that is inexpensive and sturdy. Help!

They make outdoor shade cloth or sails . They are quite large. Depending on the shape rectangular or triangular you need to just attach each corner to house , post , fence , or free ... They are fairly inexpensive. I bought 2 , to set up when we go camping to give us more shade. They cost $24 each.
