HI Susan. I first paint the ceiling and then trim that out. Then I paint the walls using a paint roller. Last I trim it out by the baseboards and ceiling. Some people like to trim it out first and then roll the rest of the wall. Repeat if you need another coat. Good Luck!
I agree with Amanda... I always work my way down
Hi Susan
Start at the top and work your way down. Ceiling, walls, baseboards. I love a freshly painted room!
😊
I would do the ceiling, then walls and the trim last. Of course I think it's a lot easier to remove the trim and take it outside and and paint it separately.
Amanda has the right idea. By doing your ceiling first (starting at the top of your project) any splatters will be taken care of as you work your way down the walls.
I always start at time at work down. So the ceiling would be first.
After it's let it dry for a few days then you can do the walls or if you are really good, that's not me, lol, do the wall cut in starting in the corner and working out. Then do the ceiling. When ceiling is done do walls. Finally the baseboards can be done. Wait at least a week to do them, so your tape doesn't pull off the new paint. If you can remove them easily without damage to paint you can do that, but I don't recommend it.
2 peop,e can get the wall and. Ceiling done in 1 day if the room is prepped and ready to go.
