What can I do about my Meyer lemon tree, the lemons taste awful?
I’ve had it for a few years and it seems every year they get worse, the taste that is. Now I just pick them and throw them away. What a waste.....
The only way I know of is to dig it up and bring it inside.
Unless you live in the tips of the US, like southern California, south Texas, or lower Florida, bring the hibiscus plant in. If it is heavy, put in on something that rolls, like a furniture dolly, a wagon, or a big towel, and roll it into place. It’s also a good idea to leave a towel, a rug, or a welcome mat underneath all indoor plants in case of spills or leaks. Try to give your hibiscus lots of light, but only water once a week or less. These flowers are for pure beauty. Enjoy as long as you can. ☺️
