How can we use more of the backyard?
There is quite a deep pitch to our backyard, making it difficult for family members. It's slippery to go down without falling, and really strenuous to try to come back up. We have limited income (retired) but need to do something so we can use the yard. Rain and runoff water gathers at the bottom and we'd like to enjoy it, but getting to and from it is almost impossible for some. Looking for some inexpensive suggestions that still maintain the integrity of the property. Thanks so much!

Good Day Teresa, check out the many ideas they have on Pinterest. If you are on Facebook there are groups on there they may also help you in finding the right solution.
Terrace the slope and add steps. I would also add a french drain at the bottom where it gets soggy. A photo would help.
