Best way to make your driveway look like stone with paint?
Several years ago there was a DIY video on how to do this but can't fine it.
Are you asking whether to paint your driveway? And whether it will enhance the property if you do? I am not sure if I would paint a driveway because of how dirty it would get. We painted our concrete patio a year ago and although I love it, it gets very dirty. I can't imagine if there were cars on it. Enhancing a driveway for property value would probably be concrete, or stamped concrete, or stone options, or stone surrounding concrete. Good luck, I hope I answered your question.
What is your question
Where I live, zone 9 it gets really really hot and the paint peels and looks tacky, so no one here does that. Staining would be a better option as it just fades over time.
Paint will not last on driveway from daily use and weather. If no one else paints theirs it will not enhance anything.
There's no type of paint that will hold up under exterior situations, no matter what they tell you! Choose a concrete stain. That's what I use and it holds up very well, but fades after two or three years and has to be freshened up. Just get a long handled roller and it's very easy to do.
