I have wrought iron furniture and live in Michigan where the winters can be rough. Bring all the glass inside and store on their edge which is the strongest area. Also bring in the cushions because the mice can chew on them. In the spring look over the set and if any rust is starting just use a brass bristle brush to remove it and then spray with the correct color of spray paint that has a built in primer. Use a satin finish and not semi or high gloss. I have use covers in the past but the covers only lasted 1 year and then they ripped. The beauty of wrought iron is that it is sturdy and can be fixed if it breaks. If it does break it will usually be at a weld and can be rewelded. I have vintage wrought iron from the 40's-60's and my furniture looks like new.

Bring under cover, or get tarps to cover, tie them down lift up off ground with bricks. Or invest in outdoor furniture covers.

There are pre-made furniture covers available through catalogs or at Home Depot and Lowes. I would cover with them or a tarp and place somewhere out of the elements, if possible. Lorraine made a good point about keeping the items off the ground. Is there somewhere in your home that you could use the furniture during the winter months?
