How can I keep glitter from falling off projects?
I am making Halloween signs that are hand painted. When the project is completed I cover the entire sign with mod podge then sprinkle glitter all over the sign. When it's dry I go back over my project with a spray acrylic sealer, but still glitter falls off. I've even taken wax paper & gently pushed the glitter into the mod podge to help seal the glitter into the mod podge. Still glitter falls off. Does anyone have a solution that will seal glitter to a project???

Spray it with a clear polyurethane or hair spray.
It sounds like the glitter is not stinking to the mod podge very well..what if you stirred the glitter into the mod podge first?
These are adorable!! You can buy a spray sealant specially designed for this! Here's an example from Rust-Oleum, but I'm sure there are loads of other brands.

I use clear Rustoleum @X Ultra or Krylon clear spray in gloss
Thank you! I'm using the regular Rustoleum spray gloss, but will look for the X ultra & try it.
I like these suggestions, I was thinking try a clear spray paint maybe 2 coats. bump of the excess out side first.
I agree these suggestions are great. I did try sealing spray twice at the end, but still glitter came off. I think the Krylon spray for sealing glitter is what I'm going to try next.
Dixie Belle clear satin sealer works well and I've never had a problem with the glitter coming off. Hope that helps.
Spray on a coat of clear gloss Rustoleum spray. A couple of coats should do it!
