Christmas centerpieces made out of candy canes and an empty tin can
I know that you use an empty can, flowers, and candy canes with hot glue gun. What else?
Could make them using Pool noodles with wire insert (so you can bent at top) or use Plastic pipe fittings, or Cardboard /tubes etc.
Please ask in the form of a sentence or two. You can use rope foam weather stripping that you spray paint and glue in a spiral. Add a dowel rod or white pvc conduit and wrap in clear cellophane.

You can build out of PVC drainage pipes and then add red duct tape or masking tape for the stripes.
I've seen people do it with pvc pipe or using duct tape on pool noodles.
Pvc pipe with a p-trap glued to the end then wrap with red tape or paint the lines on.
