Hi this is Peggy. Sorry you are having such an invasion of black berry bushes and scotchbrooom. From what I have read you need to cut them off and keep cutting them off, they don't flower, and will eventually die. Be careful of the thorns Here is some information I found on line about using weed killer to get rid of them too. good luck. mix roundup with 2-4D, and blast it with it... or cut it at the roots, and blast them with it, it will never come back, if it seeds, blast the seedlings with it.. ive killed blackberrys DEAD in 1 day with that mixture, use the required amounts tho, dont start spraying pure herbicide
