You might be able to use a fabric glue for this repair. My first thought was to suggest gorilla glue, but that might be overkill for this type of job. You can usually find fabric glue in JoAnn's Fabrics, Michaels, etc, but it's possible you may be able to find it in the notions section of your local grocery store. Just be sure to give the glue time to dry before using the headphones. :)
E6000 glue. Fabric glue won't work on leather or vinyl. It needs to bond fabric fibers. Super glue won't work either. Does not stay flexible.
Stitch it with needle and thread
If it is over the ear headphones, you could always try gorilla tape, just a thin strip over the seam to see if that would fix it. It sticks to almost everything. I haven't found anything yet that it doesn't stick to and hold. Fixed a rip in a vinyl convertible top from an ice cycle falling on it and it help for three years until the car died.
