Hair spray build up on bathroom door ?

My bathroom door has several built up layers of hair spray on it. It’s been through many years of abuse. It’s a half bath. A place where we have dried our hair - curl ironed and sprayed . Close proxsimidy to door . It has a terrible build up. 😩

I know of 2 ways, Pat. Fill a spray bottle with 1/3 shampoo & 2/3 water. Mix it gently and spray on the door. Give it a few minutes and wipe with a damp cloth. If it's really thick, you may have to scrub. Another method is to use alcohol on a rag.
Ohhh I mis-read that...thought you typed Floor, not door...LOL
Rubbing alcohol on a soft cloth. Everything in my house gets washed down once a month. Walls, door ceilings . . .
