38 years ago I lived in an apartment where I had a fully enclosed single garage. Old, dirty and yucky. My brother cleaned it up and hung paint paper inside the entire garage and turned it into a temporary spray booth. Purchased the paint and primer, did his bondo work, borrowed a paint sprayer and painted his car. He still owns that car to this day. So yes it, it can be done.

This is a very complex process. I don't think you can get sufficient information here to do a good job. I have helped my husband with a complete paint job when we passed down a Honda to our youngest. You need an area that is ventilated and sealed except for entrance. I would recommend a back up compressor in case you have issues with the main one. We use newspaper to cover the windows, mirrors, and other areas that won't be painted. The newspaper is held in place with masking tape. We used the wet sanding method between coats. I would recommend you do a great deal of research before taking on a project like this. Also keep in mind you will need to repair any imperfections (like door dings) after you sand down but before you begin painting.
Have it professionally painted.
If you’ve never operated a spray gun lots of luck with that. It will probably look worse than when you started.
