Find old keys at flea markets or thrift shops --- the metal keys clinking is a nice sound
Bamboo?
I’ve used: shells, wooden utensils, old folks & spoons, old keys, old long handles from bbq forks, small bells. I personally like the wooden or bamboo sounds- sounds like rain. The metal sound is irritating to me & the dog. I also find this & that lying around- kids small toys, icicles, $ store finds, big gaudy buttons & just make mobiles in between each wind chime.
Silver spoons, forks, old wooden thread spools, shells, buttons,. Anything you can hang from 2 or 3 sticks tied/glued together. Use your imagination.
Hi JoAnn
I've made 3 sets 2 from 25mm (1") aluminium tube and 1 from the tubing of an old bicycle frame. The aluminium sets have a low chiming sound and sound very mellow with a very soothing sound. Each section of tubing has its own actual musical tone.
I'd suggest watching Lee Hite's YouTube video and check his website (all his plans are free) if you want some chimes with actual musical tones, worth the effort to make.

I like the wooden ones they sell at Fleamasters on MLK Boulevard.
You can get a strip of chimes and all the beads your heart desires on FIRE MOUNTAIN GEM website. That way you get the original chime sound but did it yourself!! They have crystals too.
Anything that does not leave your front porch - your sounds of delight may sound like incessant, discordant banging to your neighbors.
