On the inside of the pot or pan or on the outside?
if your pots are burnt on the inside put about a half inch of warm water and a tablespoon of alum. stir to dissolve the alum. Let soak a few hours. Then scrub with a no scratch dish pad and rinse well. You can repeat the process if necessary. Alum is found in the spice section of the grocery store.
On inside cover with water add dry dishwasher detergent, bring to boil, cover and let sit for about an hour.
On outside use commercial oven cleaner
Hi Abby. I'm Cindy. Fill your kitchen sink with hot water and a squirt of Dawn dish soap. Put your burnt pan in the sink and let it set until the water cools. Drain the sink and scrub the pans. Hope this helps. Good luck from Cindy.
If it's inside the pot, boil water with dishwashing detergent (I use Cascade) and the burn will peel off.
If outside, use barkeeper's friend to scrub.
