Are the pipes overhead if so you could try something like this
How about a fake wall? We built one behind the washer & dryer to hide the pipes and vents. Then if we need to access, we just slide it out of the way.
You can use Velcro that will stick to sink or whatever you are trying to hide then stick other side of Velcro to curtain after gathering. After attaching, the Velcro should easily attach and cover unsightly pipes, etc.
