How to find the best product to seal painted bathroom cabinets?
I have an old oak vanity in my bathroom that I sanded, primed and painted. I’m wanting to seal it to protect it from chipping so quickly. I don’t want to use anything oil based. Would polycrylic by minwax hold up?

Unfortunately that's the only products that chip less and hold up with moisture.
Yes you want to look for a non yellowing water base
I recently used a water-based polyurethane by Varathane for the first time, matte/flat finish. I loved the finish and it seems really durable. It goes on pretty white, though, so don't panic. Dries clear!
Three coats of a good water based polyurethane will work. Polycrylic will work just fine. Personally I only use Minwax products.
