Krud Kutter from Lowe's. Also use pressure washer
Hi there, Wynne, we've used Simple Green and a broom/ brush when we need to scrub and just a power washer with water at other times.
Home depot sells products made specifically for vinyl siding that screws onto your hose.
Use a power washer. Just don't put it on the highest setting and keep the nozzle at least 12 inches away and you should be fine to clean the siding without stripping the finish. You can rent one from abc rental.
I used to spray bleach on my vinyl siding because of the green moss, let it sit (but not dry!) and then use a pressure washer. I have since purchased a product that says you spray it on and leave it alone...the rain water will make it that much more effective and lasts a long time. I haven't tried it yet, but I have hope.
