Have you tried toothpaste? My father swears by it. :)
I use Toothpaste a little water and rub with microfiber cloth. you can put some car wax on it after that will help even more and protect it. Or you can get a kit to buff it out and treat it($). Also any local auto body shop can buff it out for you(more $).Toothpaste treatment is way cheaper & lasts a lot longer than WD-40
Toothpaste is best!
Maguires has some stuff on eBay for less then $10
I did my daughters car. Used a White (not gel) toothpaste and a damp cloth. A dab of toothpaste on the cloth and rub in a circular motion a small area at a time. Keep the toothpaste moist. A separate wet cloth squeezing water as you rub. Wipe as you go along to see the progress. Once done put some paste wax over the lenses.
bug spray
I would have said toothpaste as well. But I did try that a couple months ago. A lot of elbow grease and the outcome was so so. It also reverted back quite abit. So after all that work I thought the $10bucks for a Maguires product was worth it.
