Just for regular maintenance Baking soda and white vinegar put baking soda in drum area & white vinegar in soap dispenser then put on hot water wash cycle. OR run a hot water wash with bleach only then run a few times to rinse well. Leave door open between washing to keep it dry and aired out. Hi Cathy,
You're not alone in wanting to clean a front loading washing machine. Many people have problems around the gasket that harbors dirt, germs & smells. Sometimes those smells are transferred to the load of wash. Yuck! Right? Here's a link that has this exact project created by several Hometalk members. Pick one or click on them all to pick the method you'd like to try. Wishing you the best!
