Hi! Would you like to repair them or reuse them for something else?

Not a big fan of vertical shades. I think they look like an '80s office window treatment.

    What about old vertical shades?

Hello there. Cindy here. Are you asking how to update your vertical blinds? If so, begin by taking the panels down and cutting fabric to the same size as one of the panels with a little extra on all sides. Then use a spray adhesive on a panel and the back side of a fabric piece. Lay it on the panel and use a credit card to remove air bubbles. Allow it to dry according to package directions. Then cut off excess fabric and move on to the next panel. When they are all covered, put them back on the track. Good luck from Cindy.

    Hi there,

I'm Linda and I'm a Hometalk helper, I'm wondering if you mean old vertical blinds rather than shades. I tried a Google search and everything that came up using the keywords "old vertical shades" showed projects using old vertical blinds. If what you have are blinds, here's some suggestions from Bob Vila. I hope one of these ideas inspires you to use what you have in a fabulous new way! Wishing you the best.
