Can you hang something decorative from that spot, or perhaps use one of the medallions made to use around a chandelier on that spot.

What's a geyser???
How about a planter. We took our old washer tub and made a wishing well planter out of it. We put hens and chickens in it.
How about dressing it up a bit with a stencil and using it as a footstool. I'm not sure of the size....so maybe that won't work. Also as Mona suggested, perhaps a planter for succulents that need very little water. It could definitely be a conversation piece either way.
Build a base for it out of treated lumber, find a way to plug the duct/pipe bit that can be removed (huge cork? tub drain plug?), place it on the base you built, open up the top, and use it for a wonderful and one of a kind ice chest for summer get togethers.
I play cribbage and Scrabble with my old geeser :)
You could cut into it and make an outdoor firepit from it.
