How do you prepare glass wine bottles for painting on?
I've taken labels off and removed all glue by wiping down with vinegar. I'm using acrylic paint but wonder if I should spray the bottle with a clear acrylic before painting so that my paint will adhere to bottle more easily? I want to do an intricate design. I tried something easy and found I had to go over it several times. Any suggestions? Should I also spray when completed? Thanks
