I use this cleaner for old pet stains https://chemistrycachet.com/easy-homemade-carpet-cleaner/
Heather,
Try Natures Remedy. My Mother crocheted my daughter an Eeyore blanket for her birthday when she was young. When my daughter grew up and got her own place, she got a cat. She tried everything to clean that blanket but stain and smell remained. I suggested putting it in a Rubbermaid with baking soda. We forgot about it for several years until I saw an add for Natures Remedy for cat stains (There are several kinds).
We followed the directions on the bottle and the blanket was saved!
I got it from Amazon but pet stores probably carry it as well.
I hope that helps
😊
I use 2/3 Hydrogen Peroxide 1/3 water. Let it sit for awhile and blot it dry with a towel.
