What kind of paint to use on ceramic tiles?
I need help deciding what kind of paint to use on ceramic tiles. I have ceramic tiling in my kitchen and I'm getting tired of looking at them. I'd like to make a change, without having to remove the tiles. So I was thinking that I can simply paint over them. Right? I need some advice, though, about how to do this. I assume that regular paint will not work on top of tiles. Is there a special paint that I can use for this? Any special prep work? Has anyone done this before that can guide me along with the project?

You can use chalk paint, but there is lots of ideas for you: https://www.pinterest.com/explore/paint-ceramic-tiles/
Tiles can be painted with design. If it were me, I would use a stamp of some sort and put a favorite color design on them, like stamp them with a special design in cobalt blue or what ever is your favorite color. You might find some at a paint supply store if you do not want to make your own stamp design. Permanent markers do well, but you could ask at the paint store for a permanent paint for them, or use a good ink or even permanent marker. A dark blue design would really be pretty on your tiles and blue isn't even one of my favorite colors!
Here is a website that advertises stamps for tiles and below is one example of what they look like along with the end product on a tile.https://www.etsy.com/market/tile_rubber_stamp Dip the stamp block in porcelain paint and press the stamp down on a tile. About the cactus, I am not sure, I just like it. Hope this helps you, Donna to find what you need.
