How can I reapply a vinyl prepasted wallpaper border?
The wallpaper border comes off very nicely in order to paint the room. But I want to put it back up. It is from 80's or 90's quality & in style again.

Just need to buy vinyl paste adhesive from your wallpaper store. Brush paste on back and hang .
Connie..I agree with Kelli..I do like the wallpaper of yesteryear too!
Wall paper paste. Leave it booked for a while. Good Luck
Hi Connie! A great question for many of us! First, I would make sure all traces of wallpaper and glue are gone, since bits of adhesive can ruin your new paint or wallpaper job. I have included a couple of links for you. You can always check with your local hardware for any extra materials you might need, etc. Good luck!

Hi. Use wall sizing first before you put it up. It comes in powder and pre-mixed. Then apply your paste to the wall and put up your wall border. Yes, I said put it on the wall and not the paper. Wipe off any excess glue and sizing. Since paper has "memory" it may be necessary for you to use painter's tape to keep your edges from curling during the drying period since it's been taken down once. Make sure the wall is clean of glue before applying your tape. Happy DIY'ing!
