You can do a lot with pine cones.
You can bleach them.
You can paint them either with acrylics or spray paint.
Wire them up and make a wreath.
Modgepodge them, then glitter, then dry, then another coat of glue.
Cut them, cut the cones little branches off until you come to the base. This will look like a flower. This can be painted different colours. Then you can use these to decorate mirrors, boxes etc. The little branches( not sure what they are called) can be stuck on cardboard cones to make a tree like top. This can then be put on a dowel and put into a decorated pot. To make a topiary tree. Hope this helps.
The easiest is to use spray glue and glitter. Make sure you remove as much sap as possible - I use Windex and paper towels.
