How do I hang a small cabinet in the garage?
I found this small cabinet at a yard sale and want to hang it in the garage. It has 4 holes in the back where screws have been. What type of screws should I use and any other tools.
This is the wall I think I want to hang it on.

If it is drywall in garage use woodscrews just make sure u find stud
Remove the doors before you put it up so it will be easier to manage then put them back on once the cabinet is secure. I'd cut a piece of 1 x 2 the length you need and screw it into wall studs (if you don't put it in studs, it will fall down). Then, when you put the cabinet up, rest the bottom of it onto the 1 x 2 for extra support (leave that 1 x 2 on the wall when you're done.) Have somebody hold it up while you screw through the back of the cabinet (again, into studs). Ask at your local hardware store for their recommendation for screws. Personally, since this is for garage storage and doesn't have to be quite as "pretty", I'd put a 1 x 2 inside the back wall of the cabinet and screw through it and the back of the cabinet when you hang it. It would just give more support for what is usually fairly thin backing on cabinets. Good luck!
Lots of different ways depending on material wall is & what's behind it also how much weight cabinet will hold https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yRwbLtSHKPU INSTALL https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGNTKFpn-kY
Hi Cathy,
Lay sheet of paper on floor - draw around cabinet back. Mark any fixing points. Offer up the paper template to the wall and mark where fixing are to be made. Drill holes for screws. Lift cabinet onto the screws you have drilled, or if no fixings shown you could drill through cabinet. Make sure the cabinet will be level by using a Spirit Level before drilling.
