How do I make easy and inexpensive Christmas yard decor?
I am wanting to decorate my yard more for Christmas and was hoping for some ideas for inexpensive and easy yard decor. I thought about maybe stuffing some white garbage bags and stacking them to make a snowman, but not sure if that will work. Anyone have projects they have completed?

Go with your white snowman, for sure. Crumple newspaper and overstuff each layer. In the head, you can slide a white or gray sheet of thin cardboard for the face. Move the paper and cardboard around to get a round head. Then use sharp scissors or a sharp knife to cut a small X where you want the nose to be. Insert a real or homemade carrot and wiggle it around to get a sturdy placement for the nose. Paint two circles of cardboard black for the eyes. Paint smaller circles black to form a coal smile.
In the center layer, insert lightweight branches for the arms. Tie a scarf around the “neck” to hide the gap between the top and second bags. Also add big black buttons or circles down the chest. Between the second and bottom bags, you can leave the gap or cover it with a wide belt or ribbon or strips of a plastic trash bag, perhaps with a cardboard buckle painted red.
The best thing about this kind of snowman is that you can fluff up the stuffing if he starts to lean over or go flat. Best wishes!

I saw once where someone took those giant balls at Walmart and painted them to look like ball ornaments. Super cute and inexpensive!
