The moisture is usually from the difference in temperature between the interior temp being warmer than outside the glass. Just getting into a cold car and breathing can cause it fog up. Not much different than coming inside when it is cold and your glasses fogging up.
Hi Janet, make sure you have your vents set on fresh air not recirculate, the fresh air setting is the one with the straight arrow and recirc is the curved arrow, you will fog up if on re-circulation in the cold weather
