Place ice cube on each spot, when it melts, pat dry with a cloth, brush with your fingers, and the nap is back up
Hi this is Peggy. If you put an ice cube on the indented spot it will bring the carpet back up . Good luck
I agree with the ice method, put ice down and wait for it to melt and then use a rubber brush to raise the carpet pile again. The rubber brush is good because it does not damage the pile or make it fluffy.
Use ice in zip lock bag or use a steamer or hair dryer. Works great. I use a steamer. In the upholstery for me a steamer takes less time.
rake the area (dry) with the tines of a fork, if you still see a dent, try the ice.I don't like putting water on my rug.I prefer 90% rubbing alcohol which will evaporate
H,
i Had you thought about steaming it and then brushing the pile up?
Spritz some water on it and fluff with your fingers.
