Hi Anna, I've never had a stackable washer/dryer, but I did find this site with unbiased reviews on them if you are interested in checking out how they rated: https://www.consumersearch.com/washer-dryers

I wanted tankless the last time I had to replace my water heater, no one had all the parts I needed so I had to go with a tank again. What people have said, the gas versions are better and more efficient. Hope this helps!
Anna,. Go to your library, and get Consumers Repot magazine, they have ratings on everything. Aloha!
You can see the Federal government's website (department of energy-DOE.gov) for comparison of gas and electric appliances, but in general, natural gas cost is much less than electric.
Due to new regulations, you may have little choice re: bells and whistles, and who does the installation. Rinnai tankless systems get good reviews, but ultimately, itls what works best for you and what you can afford.
And Rinnai is a good brand for hot water. As well as Marley?(i think im saying it right). But first hand ive seen the Rheem brand at work. And i have to say its worth every penny. And electric isnt really the best option.I would go gas.It takes longer to heat with electric.Good luck
