Standard Wire Shelf Decoration.
Janice, how wonderful you have a rec room! I would paint them to match the walls to lessen their presence in the room and use them for holding your rec room game pieces, large popcorn boxes, etc. Anything to spike the looks of the contents on the shelves and lessen the notice of the shelves. You could use decorative woven baskets/boxes or whatever you plan to keep on them. Hope this helps
Hi Janice,
Maybe add Lace or Braid to the front edge or use Bunting.........
Besides painting them to match the walls ( so they look less industrial) you can place the a variety of items on the shelves that will make them attractive. Like staging a room, placing items on shelves has real impact. Mix books with art, with items that have sentimental value or significance. Items with a theme, like color or function (i.e "man cave" or game room).
