Mothballs
If you have an Ace Hardware, check with them. They have an enormous selection of pest control solutions.
I immediately thought of mothballs to deter. Also IF there is a predator spray for bunnies, that will keep them away. Also look into something that creates a frequency that they would rather avoid and go to another yard. Catch and release somewhere else with a save-a-heart trap. We did that with squirrels years ago because they were getting between the roof and drywall by way of soffit. We cut down the apple tree that they were jumping from and once they were captured, the holes were sealed.
Tulip bulbs need dipped in Thiram (available at landscape supply stores, nurseries, etc.), prior to planting. Additionally, add some dried blood in your planting hole. If rabbits find tulips appealing after they've sprouted, you'll need to spray Liquid Fence concentrate, shaken, and mixed with water. Apply heavily to all exposed leaf and flower surfaces, stem, and surrounding ground.
Rabbits avoid onions and garlic, so consider interplanting these items amongst your tulips.
Day lilies and tulips are caviar to deer and rabbits. You may need to saturate the lilies with Liquid Fence on a weekly basis until animals avoid the area, then at least 1x/month, thereafter. Because of the initial smell, apply in the evening in a windless period, and wear gloves, long sleeves, long pants. Leave these clothes in your garage or basement for 24 hours, in case any odor drifted onto your clothing.
Liquid fence should be applied at least 5 hours prior to rain. If very heavy rains occur, you may need to reapply.
It is most important to spray early in the season, following directions and re-applications as recommended, because once deer and rabbits have tasted your morsals, it will be much harder to keep them away.
Fencing can help, or find out if you can get dog urine or odor to spread around plants, or just buy a dog, hound breed best.
Put chickenwire on ground over Tulip,Lily bulbs so the rabbits cannot dig up bulbs, they'll grow up thru wire.Moth balls are toxic so becareful using them in garden if you have pets, kids or anything you eat from garden. Try some real 100percent Peppermint essential oil
