How do I clean a vintage white Christmas tree that has turned tan?
Any suggestions for cleaning an approximately 20 year old white Christmas tree that has turned tan? It is not flocked. The "needles" are of some type of plastic or thin vinyl.

If it were me, I would spray it with white paint. I like Rustoleum for a brand that sprays on first time and it is done. Hope this helps Arnette
First try blowing if off with a blow dryer of the canned air you clean keyboards with to remove any built up dust and dirt.
Be careful with "washing" because it can cause the wires to rust.
You might try spritzing with vinegar or peroxide and then wipe off or blow dry.
Hhmmm...can you convince yourself that your tree isn't tan ? ...tell yourself it's a very trendy "champagne".lol

I've heard of people painting their Christmas trees with spray chalk paint (white) but I have not tried it myself. If you need to keep that one I would try spray painting it then I would spray the flocking on it too.
