How do I repair my garbage disposal?
My garbage disposal won’t work.At first it hummed. I turned it counter clockwise with a tool in the bottom of the garbage disposal. I turned on the disposal and it still won’t work.i bought the disposal new in May of this year so I can’t imagine it being broken fully. What can I do to get it to work?

Check with the manufacturer's warranty. I would think it is still covered and they would repair or replace it.
Also, check your wiring to make sure it is sufficient to power the disposal.
Some have reset buttons on them. Did you try that?
Pull out your owners manual. Or look it up on line. Follow their troubleshooting guide or call customer service.
After years of replacing very expensive garbage disposals, about 3 or 4 years ago I just removed it completely. Best thing I ever did, will never have another one.
Sometimes you need to do one complete rotation with tool in both directions, then use reset button on bottom of disposal(may need to push reset button in then turn on switch, turning it on may need two people if you cannot reach or use long stick). Make sure it's turned off at wall switch then check inside to make sure nothing is jammed around edge where water flows out. Inside of disposal along bottom outer edge is where water flows out. You may need flashlight to see inside rubber gasket.Use something like thin butter knife(you may wreck it so use one that you don't care) if something is stuck there to remove it or really long handled "skinny" tip flat headed screwdriver. It's nothing electric or you would not hear any humming.
