How do I bring the mums flowers back to life?
The mums are dried out but there are a few green stems. Is it too late? If not, how do I care for mums so they'll keep living?

I would cut them back and take good care of them, they may return.
Here in the north, they die back for winter, then we cut them down to a couple inches tall, and in spring they grow back, to bloom next fall.
Hi, the mums flowers die after they've bloomed but if you treat the plant with love they'll come back next season. You can deadhead the flowers (this article will show you how to do that - https://homeguides.sfgate.com/make-potted-mums-come-back-95085.html ) Here are a few tips for looking after your mums until they're ready to put on a beautiful display again next year - https://homeguides.sfgate.com/make-potted-mums-come-back-95085.html
Hello, here is another site that I think can help you: https://www.hunker.com/13426345/how-to-bring-dying-flowers-back-to-life
what I have read suggests leaving the dead branches and not trimming them back until new growth starts in the spring. And like the others say, they will reward you beautifully next year. I had 1 quart pots I never got planted one fall and left them through the winter without trimming them. In the spring they started showing new growth so I planted them and plant grew to three feet or more across & covered with blooms. Amazing!
