Hi Donna. So I think the easiest way to do this is to make a basic floral wreath you love in neutral tones~ like maybe hydrangea flowers~ and then swap out a bow or accessory pieces to customize if for the seasons. I've added a small banner to a basic wreath that says Spring or Give Thanks when appropriate and it changes the entire look. Or you could just leave it plain. Hydrangeas work all year long. Hope that helps.
Here's an example of a basic hydrangea wreath:https://www.exquisitelyunremarkable.com/2013/05/red-hydrangea-wreath.html
Hi, Donna, I bought a wreath made of metallic and wired mesh. It is an open weave. It takes spray paint surprisingly well. You can change the colors and the decorations.
Here is how to make one wreath and decorate it for various different seasons:

Hi Donna! I hear you. That is something we all think about at one time or another. If you find a basic wreath form that you really like, you then can change the ribbon, etc. each season using the same wreath.

Hello,
Consider a start with a muslin or grapevine wreath and seasonally enhance it as you might desire.
