Mar 4, 2016 - Method 1. Deep Cleaning. Put on clean gloves and a plastic apron. Wipe down thetoilet with a damp sponge. Apply toilet cleaner to the inside of the bowl. Scrub the bowl with a toiletbrush. Flush the toilet. Clean the rest of the toilet with a disinfectant cleaner. Clean the handle thoroughly.

Hi Molly! I use clorox disposable pads for the bowl and scrubbing bubbles for the outside. I also use paper towels in the bathroom, although I use microfiber cloths everywhere else in the house. The "natural" recipes for cleaners are are many , but, for the bathroom I am really fussy. I also don't like germy toilet brushes. I use other products in the rest of the house, including vinegar and baking soda.

Molly, Start by shutting off the water to the toilet. Flush it, clean with your regular bowl cleaner. Turn the water back on and flush. This is deep çleaning a toilet. Aloha!
Flush the toilet and then pour a quarter cup of Borax into it. Use your toilet brush to swish it around. Next, add one to two cups of vinegar and let the mixture sit for 30 minutes. You should be able to scrub the stains away!
