How do I stop an area rug from moving around on my Berber carpet?
How do I stop a area rug from moving around on my Berber carpet? I have added the strips that are sold to use for rug to rug, to stop rug from moving . Does not work, the rug still shifts and gets lumps/ripples in it. This will not be very nice for my holiday guests. I used the same area rug on a wall to all carpet in another room and it did not move at all. Any other tips?

Buy some of that mesh shelf liner at the dollar store and place a large piece under the area rug. No more moving. The mesh will stay in place.
Another option is carpet tape-it's really sticky. That said, I don't know the effects of when it is removed. I suggest trying it in a inconspicuous corner of the room.
Try using Velcro strips
You need some kind of rubber mat underneath the area rug to hold it in place.
