I love my laminate flooring. Durable, easy to install, easy to clean, and beautiful.
Laminate. Some really good choices these days!
And I ripped out laminate and installed hardwood flooring. I have pets and children visiting and laminate is not good with spills, drips and drops.
Flooring should compliment your lifestyle. If you have an active lifestyle with kids, pets, live by the beach, where is snowy or muddy, go with tile or vinyl as they are easy to clean. If you don't like cleaning grout, skip the tile and go with vinyl.
Hardwood is another classic choice. If installed and sealed properly, you can get decades of use out of them, and I think easy to care for.
If you have children, elderly or pets, think about cleaning issues and tripping hazards.
laminate flooring is a great choice easy for DIY and comes in many width, colors textures
Pergo
we love the wood look tile and also we have industrial laminate that looks like scrapped wood so easy to clean and care for especially with kids and pets
As Naomie indicated, laminate is a poor choice where pets, active children, liquids, etc. are present.
Hardwood is the preferred choice for longevity, but insure you select a better grade, installed by competent professionals.
Tile can be hard to stand upon for any length of time if you have many people in your home when entertaining, and can be subject to cracking if things are dropped, or scratching, from stones/dirt, high heels. Keeping grout clean is another concern.
