Hi Linda! I always thought that was such a great way to separate rooms! You can always take a sheer curtain or use some bed sheets and hang them for curtains, and add beads in long strands to that curtain which would be easy because you hang a curtain on a regular rod. grab some soft flow kind of material from the fabric store and put on one side-use a color that will accent the beads not hide them or you can lay the beads across the material, sew on and then hang using a painted pic pipe and some clamps.
I made a beaded curtain once.
I used it instead of a door.
I drilled holes in a slat of wood. Then cut strong plastic fishing wire to just longer then the length you need to be able to tie them around the wood.
Add beads to each string, tie knot at the bottom.
Fix to the door or ceiling with screws.
