How can you fix seat cushions on a couch that cannot be removed?

I have a couch that I use almost like a bed a lot of the time. The insert that came with the couch is a cheap stuffed pillow. I have stuffed them with poly something from a store but it hasn't lasted long at all. I would like to figure out how to use some really firm foam. There is a zipper however it is in the back and is very hard to get to.

You Get a Fabric you like, and after you Superglue a Cubic Cushion Cover secure that you also Superglue Zippers on it it so you can wash the Covers and keep it clean.

You would be better to use the zipper to remove the stuffing and replace with foam.

But failing that you need to unlock one side, insert the foam, then hand stitch with invisible stitch, or ladder stitch.

You can purchase a good strong foam to stuff your cushion covers, but you will need to remove the present stuffing to fill it properly. You can also put a thin plywood under your cushions across the frame of the couch underneath to reinforce the support on your couch. I would start with the plywood trial first to see if that would fix your situation. We have some church friends who did that to their couch and they did not need to do more after that.
