How can I prevent my "full of yard waste" paper bags from the rain?
I don't have any place to store them once full, inbetween biweekly pick-ups. My yard is large, many bags, and not in a position to fully compost yet. Thanks!!!
Rubber band, hair bands.
Lil piece of tape, fold lil piece over so u can pull it. Could use ruberband, but might crinkle a bit.
Go around it one or two times with saran wrap.
I re-use the empty wrapping paper tubes, or empty paper towel, or toilet paper tubes. I cut down the length of the tube. Then I overlap the empty tube on the wrapping paper roll. It keeps the wrapping paper in place. If you find the empty wrapping paper tube is too long, then cut into smaller lengths. I don’t cut the empty paper towel and/or the empty toilet paper tubes, as I find them to be the perfect size.
I use a piece of tape. Rubber bands will leave compression marks. Why waste plastic food wrap.
Small binder clips. I’ve seen people also use toilet paper tube.
Tape, or tie with ribbon, just save bits of ribbon that come wrapped around things you purchase, or handles from shopping bags, etc.
