How to solve bleed through on floor?
I have been painting the old board floors in my old house ,all was going well until on one floor after two coats ,I looked and the knots were showing through. I had forgot to seal the knots with sealer it was showing .through.. oh no, so my question is, can I put a light coat of sealer over the bleed spots before painting again?will the sealer show through now? My instinct says to put it on but I dont want to ruin my work as ,my floor paint is very light but not as light as sealer If you can make sense out of my question ,would you help a rookie?

Killz or a similar product could work. It's a thick, white covering used for stains that bleed through paint. Paint on where needed, allow to dry and paint.
Yes,use Kilz. Remember to always prime before painting.
Kilz's primer or Bullseye Sealcoat should work.
Thankyou Deanna, Kelli and William . Going for it ,I wont make that mistake again .Good grief . Thanks again friends .

Clear shellac works. You might need a few coats.
